คณะกรรมการพัฒนาเกลือทะเลไทย ผนึกกำลังผู้ประกอบการ ผลักดันการใช้เกลือทะเลไทยในภาคอุตสาหกรรม
วันที่ 20 ธันวาคม 2564 นายชาญยุทธ์ ภาณุทัต ที่ปรึกษากรมส่งเสริมการเกษตร ในฐานะหัวหน้าคณะทำงานเฉพาะกิจแก้ไขปัญหาเกลือทะเล (Ad Hoc) เป็นประธานการประชุมหารือความร่วมมือในการนำเกลือทะเลไทยเป็นวัตถุดิบในการอุตสาหกรรมอาหาร โดยมีนางสาวนันทมาส ทองปลี รักษาราชการแทนหัวหน้าสำนักงานเลขานุการคณะกรรมการพัฒนาเกลือทะเลไทย และผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วมประชุม ณ ห้องประชุม 4/2 ชั้น 4 อาคาร 1 กรมส่งเสริมการเกษตร และเชื่อมโยงเครือข่ายออนไลน์ผ่านโปรแกรม Zoom meeting
ในการประชุมครั้งนี้ผู้แทนผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมอาหาร ได้ให้ข้อมูลต่อที่ประชุมว่า โรงงานอุตสาหกรรมอาหารส่วนใหญ่ใช้เกลือสินเธาว์เป็นวัตถุดิบหลัก กลุ่มลูกค้าที่มีคำสั่งซื้อมีการร้องขอใช้เกลือทะเลจำนวนน้อยมาก รวมทั้งเกลือทะเลไทยมีราคาที่ผันผวน และมีราคาสูงกว่าเกลือสินเธาว์มาก รวมทั้งคุณภาพของเกลือทะเลไทยที่ยังไม่มาตรฐานสำหรับการส่งออกสินค้าไปยังต่างประเทศ
โดยที่ประชุมได้มีมติให้วางแนวทางการใช้เกลือทะเลไทยที่มีคุณภาพในโรงงานน้ำปลาไทย เป็นการนำร่อง โดยให้ฝ่ายเลขานุการฯ ประสานงานกับผู้ประกอบการแปรรูปเกลือทะไทยเรื่องการควบคุมคุณภาพของเกลือ และนำผลิตภัณฑ์เกลือทำความสะอาดไปให้หน่วยงานที่เข้าร่วมประชุมทดลองใช้ รวมทั้งประสานกับผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมอื่นๆ ที่มีการใช้เกลือเป็นส่วนผสม เช่น สระว่ายน้ำ เป็นต้น
นอกจากนี้ที่ประชุมยังเห็นชอบให้มีการประสานงานกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อพัฒนาโครงการการเพิ่มคุณภาพเกลือและสร้างรายได้ให้เกษตรกรผู้ผลิตเกลือ โดยใช้วัสดุปูพื้นนาเกลือเพื่อให้ได้ผลผลิตเกลือที่มีคุณภาพ อันจะส่งผลให้มีการเพิ่มมูลค่าของเกลือและสร้างรายได้ให้เกษตรกรรายย่อยต่อไป
