วันที่ 27 กรกฎาคม 2566 นายอลงกรณ์ พลบุตร ที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ ในฐานะประธานคณะกรรมการพัฒนาเกลือทะเลไทย มอบหมายนายชาญยุทธ์ ภาณุทัต หัวหน้าคณะทำงานเฉพาะกิจแก้ไขปัญหาเกลือทะเล (Add Hoc) พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานของคณะกรรมการพัฒนาเกลือทะเลไทย และหน่วยงานภาคีที่เกี่ยวข้อง ร่วมกันลงพื้นที่ตรวจเยี่ยมการดำเนินงานของคณะกรรมการพัฒนาเกลือทะเลไทย ครั้งที่ 1/2566 ณ วิสาหกิจชุมชนเกลือเม็ดบานา หมู่ที่ 2 อำเภอเมืองปัตตานี และวิสาหกิจชุมชนโอรังปันตัย อำเภอหนองจิก จังหวัดปัตตานี โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อตรวจเยี่ยม เป็นขวัญและกำลังใจรวมทั้งรับฟังปัญหาและอุปสรรคในพื้นที่ โดยเน้นติดตามขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินงานภายใต้ยุทธศาสตร์นำการผลิตให้เป็นไปอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ การเชื่อมโยงการผลิตเกลือกับผู้ประกอบการที่ใช้เกลือเป็นวัตถุดิบและผู้ค้าส่งเกลือทะเล และการแก้ไขปัญหาให้เกษตรกรผู้ทำนาเกลือทะเล
ในการนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจากนายณัฐกฤช สิทธิโอสถ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดปัตตานีให้เกียรติเป็นประธานการตรวจเยี่ยมการดำเนินงานดังกล่าว โดยได้รับฟังปัญหา อุปสรรคของการทำนาเกลือของเกษตรกรชาวนาเกลือ จังหวัดปัตตานี ดังนี้
1. ปัญหาพื้นที่ทำนาเกลือลดลง จากการแผ่ขยายเขตพื้นที่อาศัยและเขตเมือง
2. ปัญหาด้านภัยพิบัติ ในกรณีเหตุจากน้ำทะเลหนุนที่ก่อให้เกิดความเสียหายต่อแปลงนาเกลือส่งผลให้เกษตรกรไม่ได้รับผลผลิตติดต่อกัน 3 ปี โดยเกษตรกรยังไม่ได้รับการเยียวยา ซึ่งคณะกรรมการพิจารณารับเรื่องประสานหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องต่อไป
3. วิสาหกิจชุมชนมีผลิตภัณฑ์แปรรูปสินค้าและผลิตภัณฑ์จากเกลือทะเล แต่สินค้าของกลุ่มมีความต้องการในระดับชุมชน ตลาดสินค้ายังไม่กว้าง และการสตุเกลือกับใช้ยังรูปแบบการผลิตแบบดั้งเดิม ทางกลุ่มต้องการปรับเปลี่ยนูปแบบเพื่อลดต้นทุนและระยะเวลาในการผลิต โดยสำนักงานสหกรณ์จังหวัดปัตตานีจะรับช่วยเหลือด้านการตลาดและแหล่งจำหน่ายเกลือทะเล
4. เกษตรกรมีความต้องการให้สร้างประตูกั้นน้ำทะเล เพื่อลดปัญหาน้ำทะเลหนุนสูง เข้าท่วมแปลงนาเกลือเพื่อลดความสูญเสียในการลงทุนโดยที่ประชุมมีมติประสานหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง อาทิ กรมชลประธาน กรมเจ้าท่า และโยธาธิการและผังเมืองจังหวัดสำรวจพื้นที่ สนับสนุนการช่วยเหลือเกษตรกรต่อไปทั้งนี้ผู้แทนคณะกรรมการแต่ละหน่วยงานแลกเปลี่ยน และเสนอแนะแนวทางการดำเนินกิจกรรมในการทำนาเกลือ
